Sherry has a BA in Psychology and Behavioral Science from Athens State University, along with a Master's degree in Social Work from A&M University in Huntsville, AL She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a private practitioner (PIP). .   
Sherry worked as an LPN for many years, including several years with Dr. Tom Montgomery and Dr. Lisa Franklin.  She started working in mental health as a Crisis Intake Specialist with Marshall Medical Center North and Cullman Mental Health Center.  Sherry counsels individuals, couples, and families for a variety of issues, including trauma, grief, women's issues, substance abuse treatment, depression, and anxiety.  She also has EMDR therapy training. Outside work, Sherry loves photography and nature.  She enjoys spending time with her family and her camera.
